Truth is I was always a wave maker, a disruptor and someone who really didn’t take the status quo. This caused many clashes with “leadership” as I constantly put staff first and pushed for mentorship.
As time went on and many of the folks who shared my passion left, so did the push for mentorship.
Now, I utilize my platform on LinkedIn and other social media to push the same agenda at scale. I have been featured on AICPA, CPA Trendlines, The Accounting Pod and many others sharing my journey on these topics.
I used to think that jumping 7 firms in 12 years was a detriment until I realized that what jumping firms has taught me are what the exact issues with the profession are.
